It began, as all good stories do, with music. In the quiet hours after the last notes of the night had faded from VERSE, we’d sit and listen, really listen to the walls breathe, to the room hum, to the echoes of a thousand songs born just beneath our feet at Larrabee Studios. For years, we traveled far and wide, chasing the perfect wine to match this sound. We tasted from the sun-soaked hills of Tuscany, from the windswept valleys of Italy, from cellars carved deep into French limestone, searching for something that felt like this room.
And then, one night, it found us. A blend as textured as the velvet bassline of a soul record, as bright as a trumpet’s call (we can substitute), as layered as the harmonies that once drifted up from the legendary 6 studios next door. We named it ST7, a nod to that honorary studio, a sister to the music that has always lived here.
ST7 is more than a wine; it’s a composition. It sings when paired with our food, dances alone in the glass, and lingers like the final note of a perfect song. After years of searching, we like to think we’ve bottled the very best of many corners of the world, and given it a soundtrack.
